Alerts

INTRODUCTION

DispatchTrack provides ample provision for you to be alerted about events during the delivery of service. Here, we take a look at the different alerts available.

How do I view the different types of Alerts available?

1. Click on the Admin tab and then on the Alerts link on the left side. On the right side, notice the list of Events available, for each of which an alert may be got.

How do I modify an Alert?

1. Pick an Alert that you want to modify. In the example here, the Geo Fence Violation alert has been chosen. Click on the Edit icon at the right side.

2. In the pop-up window that appears, enter

  • the e-mail addresses, separated by commas of the desired recipients, in the
  • the customized Subject Line in the Subject box
  • and the body of the alert in the Body box

Note that there are some tags that may be used in the body of the alert that will expand to the actual when the alert is sent.

Once done, the Save button has to be clicked to save the changes.

There are a total of 13 alerts that may be chosen from. Each of them can be customized. Leave the check box unchecked under the Enabled column for any alert that you don’t want to receive. Finally, click on the Save button at the bottom to save the changes.
