Service Order screen navigation

INTRODUCTION

The Service Order screen displays the list of Service Orders that have been either imported or manually entered. There are many options available to view only what is required for easy editing and readability.

How do I navigate in the Service Orders screen?

1. Notice that each line in the Service Order screen corresponds to one Service Order. There is a checkbox next to each Order. Multiple checkboxes may be selected and the Dispatch button at the bottom clicked to dispatch these Orders at one shot. (The Dispatch button takes you to the Assign popup from which a Service Unit and a date for service may be assigned).

Following this procedure, the Status under the Status column changes from New to Scheduled.

2. Right next to the checkbox are icons for Notes and Photographs. They appear lit up if any notes have been added or photographs taken by the driver on his mobile device at a customer location.

3. The Order # column contains the Order Number assigned to the Order.

4. The Job Type column contains the Job type or Service Type .

5. The Customer column contains the customer’s name and just below the name, the Call Status

6. The City column contains the name of the city in the address of the customer.

7. The Service Unit column contains the Service Unit name assigned to that Order.

8. The Status column displays the status of the Service. [Note: This screen does not auto update itself, so the status that is seen is what it was when the page was opened].

9. The Scheduled at column contains the date and time at which the Order was pulled in from the POS system or the date and time at which the entry was made manually.

10.The Requested Date column contains the date at which the Order is to be serviced.

11. The Pen icon to the right of the Order, when clicked, takes you to the Edit Service Order screen where the Order may be edited and when done, the Save button clicked.

There are five boxes in which the list of Service Orders may be filtered. They are:

1. Order # :- in which the Order Number may be entered and the Go button clicked to get a listing of only that Order.

2. Status :- in which the status of a Service is listed and when selected and the Go button clicked and the corresponding Service Orders are displayed.

3. Scheduled Date :- in which a date may be chosen and the Go button clicked for a display of all Service Orders scheduled on that date.

4. Requested Date :- in which a date may be chosen and the Go button clicked for a display of all Service Orders requested on that date.

5. Service Unit :- is a drop-down box in which all the Service Units are displayed. The required Service Unit may be selected and the Go button clicked to view all Service Orders assigned to that Service Unit.

The More Filters link, when clicked, displays more number of filters : Job Type, Customer Name, Phone, City, Custom Field, Custom Field Value.

The Import button is used to import data from POS systems. When clicked, we are prompted to enter the path of the file which contains the list of Orders to be imported.

The New Service Order button is used to create New Service Orders manually.
