1. Log in to your Facebook account as an admin user.

2. Go to URL - https://developers.facebook.com/apps and do the following:

a. Click on the button “Add a New App” at the top right corner. From the popup that appears, select the type of App that you would like to create.

b. In the popup that appears, Add a valid “App Name” and click on the button “Create New Facebook App ID”.

c. In the popup that appears, select “Apps for Pages” from the “Choose a Category” dropdown and click on the Confirm button.

If you have selected Website :

In the popup that appears, type in your website’s URL in the format

https://.dispatchtrack.com/facebook_return/ in the box Site URL and click on Next. In the resulting window, click on the link “Skip to Developer Dashboard”.

Click on the Show button for App Secret. Note down the following details.

i. App ID ii. App Secret

Click on Save Changes.

3. Note down the Target page ID from the Facebook page URL – For example, if the URL of your Facebook page where you would like to display the comments is:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Furniture-Store/442951365738012 - Target Page ID is 442951365738012. In case you want to create a new Page, from your main page, you will have to select Create Page from the dropdown as shown in the image.

4. Login to DispatchTrack and navigate to Admin tab. Click on Social under the Survey Setup category.

• Key in the configuration parameters noted above and also the other fields in the Social Page.
  • App ID/API KEY - (App ID noted from the app)
  • App Secret - (App secret code noted from the app)
  • Page ID - (Target page ID – noted from the page URL)
  • Name - (Name of your business)
  • Link - (your company website link)
  • Caption - (Short description about your business)
  • Description - (Brief describe about your business)
  • Logo - (your company logo)
• Upon saving the data, a blue colored Facebook Login button will be displayed at the top.
• Click the Facebook button. You will be prompted with a permissions dialog, grant all the permissions.
• Note: It is very important to be logged in to Facebook as the administrator of the Target Page. So please don’t forget to click the Facebook Login button.

5. We are now ready to publish the comments to the Target Page from Survey Tab> Publish Survey Comments
