Users

Users is where you can add and define users who would be logging in to your DispatchTrack website at the computer. When you click on the Admin tab, by default you're taken to the Users link.

New users may be added and defined by clicking on the New button. The user's name would have to be specified in the Name box. In the Email box, assign an email address - it need not be a genuine email address but is needed to be in the 'something@something.something' format. Assign a password.

Select from any of the three roles in the Select Role dropdown.

The Admin role grants complete administrative privileges to the user - meaning, they will have access to all the tabs in DispatchTrack.

The Dispatcher role grants access to all of the tabs at the top except the Admin tab. You may choose whether a Dispatcher User may be granted or denied access to :

  • Delete Orders
  • Edit or Delete Notes

If Accounts have been added, you may pick whichever Account you want to assign to this user by highlighting it in the 'Available Accounts' window and clicking on the Add button to move it to the Linked Accounts window.

Similarly, if the Dispatcher needs to have access to only certain Service Units, you may pick whichever Service Unit you want to assign by highlighting it in the 'Available Units' window and clicking on the Add button to move it to the Linked Units.

The Customer Support role will have no access to the Admin tab and will have access to the Home Screen, Service Orders tab and the Routing tab. As for the rest of the tabs, you may pick and choose whether you want to deny or grant access to them :

  • Enable Phone Call Screen: (if Notification is enabled)
  • Enable Survey Tab
  • Enable Reports Tab
  • Enable Customer Tab
  • Enable Service Unit Tab

If Accounts have been added, you may pick whichever Account you want to assign to this user by highlighting it in the 'Available Accounts' window and clicking on the Add button to move it to the Linked Accounts window.

Similarly, if the Customer Support person needs to have access to only certain Service Units, you may pick whichever Service Unit you want to assign by highlighting it in the 'Available Units' window and clicking on the Add button to move it to the Linked Units.

Finally, do not forget to click on the Save button to save the changes.

Any number of users may be created this way, who would be logging in to DispatchTrack at the computer, in their respective capacities in the Organization.
